Don't confuse socialism with "socialism."

There's the ideology, and then there's what the Right, and europe, and Democrats think it is. They are not the same. One is cool... the other is nothing more than a front for oligarchical statism. Centralized, authoritarian control comes in all kinds of packaging.

Centralized, authoritarian control comes in all kinds of packaging.

In local terms it's the modern Republican Party, which is bent on reinstating feudal system and financial enslavement.

:lmao: your Russian masters well have taught you the use of bullshit rhetoric :yoda:

Unlike you, I just refuse to be a corporate cock sucking drone. Refusing to accept policies, that are directly agains my self interest and trying to rob me out of my hard earned cash hardly makes me a socialist, but rather a pragmatist. On the other hand you just blindly follow indoctrinating rhetoric, which is what members of the communist party do.

Btw KKK and FW, "patriotic" rhetoric of people you vote for can be summed up with this: T-A=0. Here is an example:

Reuters in February posted “U.S. Senate Republicans block veterans’ health bill on budget worry“:

U.S. Senate Republicans blocked legislation on Thursday that would have expanded federal healthcare and education programs for veterans, saying the $24 billion bill would bust the budget.

Even though the legislation cleared a procedural vote on Tuesday by a 99-0 vote, the measure quickly got bogged down in partisan fighting.

Supporters said the measure would have brought the most significant changes in decades to U.S. veterans’ programs. For example, it called for 27 new medical facilities to help a healthcare system that is strained by veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. […]

Referring to recent budget deals that aim to bring down federal deficits, Republican Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama said: “This bill would spend more than we agreed to spend. The ink is hardly dry and here we have another bill to raise that spending again.”

(Not sure what shows after the rally is over)

It gets muted for having copyrighted music.

So this is what had the wife circling for 25 minutes trying to find a parking spot within artillery range of Red Robin last night!

Well ol' Bernie lost my vote. Anyone who causes me wife to vent on me is no friend of mine.

Early choices: Scott Walker, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and, maybe, Rand Paul.

Non-Starters: Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Rick Perry, Chris Christie (subject to change).

And, oh yea, ANYONE BUT HILLARY.

Hah, I missed this the first time around. You might as well throw in Barry Goldwater, Sam Brownback, and Joe McCarthy if you're assembling a deep space right wing dream team.

Scott Walker is probably the scariest of the bunch you've listed, he'd like to bring a ball and peen hammer to the skull of the national economy just like he's done to Wisconsin. That state sucks just slightly ahead of Kansas, and doesn't much count as a reference for anyone who pays attention to real life as compared to ideological poofterism.

Yes, socialism and individual freedom tend to not get along very well. That said, it's refreshing to hear a candidate like Sanders who says what he actually believes.

Biggest rollback in individual freedom was through the Patriot Act- a legislature enacted by Republican Control Congress and signed into law by Republican President. Why are you insisting or falsifying history?

Definitely, but Obama is more pragmatist than liberal, and he liked the power it provided, so he kept it, and probably expanded NSA's ability to read your dreams. Oh, and I'm one of them libtards thru n thru. Hillary all the way!!!

it is a bit early for making such a expensive bet. Hillary was the obvious choice 8 years ago at the same point in campaign.

'merica is a fickle land where choices are often based on illogical reasoning. Emotions get involved. 'merica does not like dynasties (it has the word "nasties" inside) and betting that two dynasties make the ticket is a bold bet against this natural bent.

Go Bernie all the way!

Oh, and I'll bet $100 it's Clinton and Bush taking the D and R nominations. Who's got another pair?

Gene answered it for me. I already made $100 on a similar bet on Hillary when an unknown upstart that neither the other bettee nor I had heard of at the time named Barack Obama step into the ring crushed her.

As far as the loyal opposition goes, there are @ 15 solid candidates at this time and I will refer you to a few years ago when Pat Buchanan was crushing it pre-Iowa. Pat who?
