Beginner Alpine Climbs

Tiger Lily

Recommended Posts

I'm very new to alpine climbing and am looking for some good beginner routes in the Cascades. I haven't taken any alpine courses but work on a high ropes course. I summitted Mt. Rainier via the Disappointment Cleaver Route with RMI last year and summitted the South Spur of Mt. Adams this past fall.

I've been thinking about:

--Hogsback on Mt. Hood

--Mt. Baker's Easton Glacier

--Mt. Angeles (Olympics) in the winter

Any input or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
