WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Seeking climbing partners in olympia

Recommended Posts

I am an experienced backpacker/climber working on the highest 100 peaks in Washington. I don't do super technical climbs. I'm more of a "high route" kind of person who likes to get out and really see the landscape, and bag a few peaks along the way. I recently moved to olympia, and want to get out in the olympics this spring to get in shape for climbing season in the Cascades. Anyone down here in Olympia or Tacoma area who is interested?

I just took a job in Olympia, though live in Seattle. I'd be up for some after work hikes in the Olympics or other training routines - 6-10 miles runs, etc. Either of you interested? My weekends are a little tough through March, but open back up again in April. Perhaps grab a beer one evening to touch base first?
