Yes, it will slightly change the angle on the BD screws, but it makes them very sharp, and as long as you use the sharpener evenly on all 4 teeth it doesnt matter. But where do we draw the line? Visible fraying on nylon products is a good place to do it. Your call, though..... it's your life. And your partners. kurthicks Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 Looks like an Arc'teryx harness. I had one that did the same thing at the end of the outside loop of the belay loop.
