Jay Hoover Posted July 23, 2014 Share Posted July 23, 2014 Hi everyone, I'm looking for a climbing partner who is interested in doing some alpine rock routes in the Cascades: WA pass, Enchantments, Leavenworth area, anywhere really. I've been climbing around a year, mostly indoors, some outdoors and I'm excited to get outside more. I'm on TR to about 5.10c and I've lead 5.9. I did some training with NW Mountain School that covered how to place and build anchors and I've done a few basic trad mock leads. At this point I'd love to meet up with fun people who can help me practice and learn. I've got a truck, sport gear, a rope and I've started collecting trad gear. I am new to climbing about 2 years. My main area of interest is backcountry skiing and alpine climbing. I've discovered that multipitch trad climbing is another one of my soul passions and I just need to find good partners who share my enthusiasm, ethics etc. I live in Poulsbo and get out frequently to the North Cascades and Olympics.
