monroe, wa

I currently live in Seattle and work in Woodinville (30min commute). I'm considering moving to Monroe (20min commute) thinking that I could also get out to Index during the week.

Are there a good amount of climbers at Index during the week after work? Where do they live/work?

As a 10 year vet of Monroe ('94-'04) you're kidding yourself to think you'll get to Woodinville in 20 minutes during rush hour. More like 45 minutes to an hour on 522. It is close to Index but unless you have a regular partner also close by, it can be difficult to really take advantage of it.

The town of Monroe doesn't really have much to offer either. I'd say get a place close to work so you'll have more free time.

if you leave for work before 6am, the drive to woodinville is about 20 minutes. after that, it is as previous described.
