markiemark12 Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 Trip: South Korea Winter Climbing Recap - Date: 3/15/2014 Trip Report: Since my friend and I have been too scared to ice climb this past winter, we utilized the extensive bullet train network to ferry us to the southern tip of the Korean peninsula to find warm rock. Amnam Park...Great views...but probably the worst rock quality I've ever climbed on. AeBawi: My favorite place to climb thus far in Korea. Incredible views, solid rock, interesting lines...and the exposure speaks for itself. Overall we enjoyed using all our free time to climb around the country during our deployment to Korea. ivan Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 nice thing about climbing on a cliff in koe-ree-uh is you can be pretty sure there ain't no land-mines on it might be shitty rock, but at least you appear to have beat the crowds at that other joint you did a tr for?
