WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

3D Footage from Rainier

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody,

This was our first trip visiting Paradise @ Mt. Rainier with almost all snow melted (only been there previously outside summer hours). What a difference it makes.

The main purpose of our visit was to get some 3D/HD/1080p footage (True 3D) while hiking the broader trails (Wonderland, Skyline, etc.) which we're looking to compile and post eventually.

At present we've posted a video of the travel to Paradise (through Longmire and Nisqually entrance) if anyone is looking to visit and see what it's like before arriving. You can also watch in 2D, if you like.

Unfortunately, we didn't hit the peak of the wildflowers, but it was great trip as always. Hardly a cloud in the sky.

All the best.
