Soulken
A recent trip report got me thinking about Darrington. I've never been, but it might be fun to try "Dreamer" or something equivalent out there this Sat. I've a car and gear. Sound cool?
curtveld
Great call - Dtown is awesome! The approach to Dreamer has become fairly epic, so for starters, I'd point you toward the Kone or Silent Running, both on Three O Clock Rock. You'll spend more time climbing and less beating up your car and shins. Good luck finding a partner.
Soulken
Sounds like sound advice, thanks.
mattp
Ditto that and, for The Kone, start on the first two pitches of Daylight just left of the start of The Kone.
btustison
Did you find anyone yet? I am in Tacoma and I am down for some slab.
jhamaker
After much vasilating, Mark W. and I did end up at 3 O'Clock Rk. on Sat. Climbed Revolver and then the two sport climb pitches. Laurel and Daffney climbed Silent Running, and there was also a party on Rubber Soul! I'd go again if the weather warms up a bit or I could find someone to pad up to a climb on Huckleberry Hill/ Exfoliation Dome.
