Muga2
[img:center]http://www.pbase.com/nolock/image/57591368[/img] Triple Couloirs route is the zig zag route following the obvious couloirs on the right side in this picture. Anyone know what route is left of the buttress...the long couloir left hand side of this picture? Thanks in advance. Dustin
JasonG
That be the NE Couloir
Muga2
Thx Jason. I'm surprised that there isn't more beta on this route. It looks awesome...in a picture...from a distance. LOL Cheers!
Dannible
That route seems to get climbed a lot when word spreads that it's in, as in, people lined up on weekends. It comes in fairly early, but is scary loose if it's not good and frozen. It's also been mostly skied by Aaron Scott and the birdman. lunger
And many years ago by Teleross. Would probably take a rare snow year to ski it entirely, if possible at all.
Off_White
Go back and look at the OP's link, I think he's asking about the Triple, not the NE. The angle of the photo is such that you can't see the face of the fin, but the NE does not go that close to the summit, and it isn't as broken a line. I think the NE is the left line, and the zig zag is the triple. I think Ross has skied them both, so that point is moot.
