EShuford Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 I haven't been on this route before, but am interested in doing an 'up and over' descending the south side. My party includes some strong hikers, but with limited ice axe / crampon experience and I want to make sure I'm not getting us in over our heads. I'm curious if anyone has been up there recently. -- What are the snow conditions like on or around the ridge? -- How long, exposed and steep are the 2-3 'difficult parts'? -- Would it possible to use a 30m rope to protect those spots?
