mountains62 Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 Hey All! I'm Brian and hail from Maine. Looking for some advice/help/offers for climbing partners and places to stay while I'm there. Dates are 7/1-7/4. Never been to Bend/Smith before and not sure of the best way to proceed. I'll have wheels, shoes, harness and other personal gear, but trying to travel without a rack and rope. I've been climbing for nearly 15 years, am very laid back, safety conscious and like to have as much fun while still getting some good climbing in. I'll plug gear or clip bolts and climb in the .10- range on good days but thoroughly enjoy everything below that too. If you have any advice for me, I'd greatly appreciate it! I've looked into CouchSurfing which seems like a viable option for crashing, but not as much for climbing.
