Their prices are about 1/2 of the well-known brands, but that difference is nothing when compared to a broken foot/leg/neck if they are not as well built. While i have no personal experience with their gear, the general conciseness over there is that the price difference isn't worth it. boadman Posted April 10, 2013 Share Posted April 10, 2013 They're perfectly safe, just heavier and not as nicely finished. I don't worry too much about the cost of cams though, as if you divide the price by the hours of use they get infinitesimally inexpensive. I figure you might as well by the nicest gear available. Lodestone Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 Regarding the gear4rocks single axle cams: Wild Country abandoned axle nuts early on with Friends as they can loosen or unscrew completely.
