jrex Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 Trip: Mt. Hood - North Face Date: 3/30/2013 Trip Report: So after seeing some great trip reports on the N. Face of Hood my buddy Joe and I got the stoke and decided it was time for a go....We left Friday and dropped a car at T-line and then headed over to the Spur. We camped at the climbers hut and started our climb at 4:30. We skipped the Elliot and headed up the spur to make the traverse. We made it to the base of the left gully??? and started up..we wandered left and right climbing steep snow with the occasional ice for about 4 hours before topping out at noon. We carried screws and pickets but didn't feel the need to place any pro. The exposure was awesome and the day was great...Long hot slog down the ss....
