Many others I am intimidated by their levels and prefer to climb with fellow gumbies. The first times ice climbing all of us were goofin around and managed some fun stuff trading leads. What you may be able to teach in 5 minutes can be valuable. I can teach all I know in about 30 seconds for ice climbing- Go for it if you feel strong enough and place a lot of pro if you feel scared.
