WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Long shots of climbers on routes.

GO!

(clue, do a photo post and just remove "medium/" to make your photos large size)

Note, if you were climbing the Ice Cliff Glacier on Feb 21, 2010, or Liberty Crack on June 23, 2011, these photos are of you!

that OS space shot is sweet! brings back memories of the last pitch of Iconoclast, and reminds me why I was glad I followed it.

Art Wiggins, Harvey Miller, and me on the South Face of Paria Point in 1988.

This route would go on to become the Lowe/Gnade/Petro route Wind, Sand, and Stars.

Some dude on the ground caught me leading the money pitch of Ancient Art a couple weeks ago. I should've done a yoga pose or something, but I didn't have the stones Austin_5.jpegAustin_1.jpeg

Here's another one. This is the Chugach version of 'death-by-toprope'. They'll stay on a route all day if you let them.
