I'd like to do the 5.6 crack on Tower and std route on Golden Horn. Drive up Fri night hike in Sat morning and climb Golden Horn. Camp and do Tower Sunday and hike out Sunday or Monday morning. fredrogers Posted October 4, 2012 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Hey Matt-It's been a few years since I climbed it, but expect some lichen on Golden Horn and sparse protection. It's a bit tricky to get off the top, we ended up lowering one person to fix the rope in the gully between the two towers and then running the line over the summit block for the second person to rap- building an anchor to rap from would have been expensive.
