silasseitz
Trip: Bare Mtn - fully-assisted ascent/campout - Date: 8/22/2012 Trip Report: What were my parents thinking?! I do realize that at the moment I am fully dependent, but I can barely focus on objects 12" from my face, let alone enjoy summit views from 5300ft! What can I say, I slept through most of the hike up and down, and missed out on all the in-season berries that they ate. I know I can't really eat them anyway and let's face it, I could've been just as content hanging out in the corner of the apartment, drooling all over myself and filling my diaper. Regardless, I'm getting an early start on my tick list (and TR count on this fine site)! I am sure one day I'll appreciate this more but I hope our next trip is to a warm jacuzzi withan open milk bar. Thanks folks My Sherpa Arrived at camp Extra lighting and pacifying tool - some of the 10 essentials Bare Mtn summit Not happy -Silas Gear Notes: 2x swaddling blankets 2x onesies 10+ biodegradable diapers (packed out) 2x milk jugs

curtveld
Sweet! Brings back memories of my daughter's first backpack at 9 mo. and our similar attempt to sleep three under the bag. She had a blast rolling between us all night, but no one got much sleep. She's 15 now and carries her own bag.
