Dr.Hook Posted February 24, 2002 Share Posted February 24, 2002 Was climbing in Golden/Field area last week (16-20) and had great conditions at the beginning of the trip. Temps hovered around zero with blue skies. Mid-week temps rose and ice started deteriorating. None-the-less the ice is fat on most routes we encountered. Have a great time. Any ice in Whistler? brody0 Posted April 4, 2002 Share Posted April 4, 2002 Just got back from a week and half in jasper. ice near jasper, such as Maligne canyon (if you want to deal with the spectators) is very in but dripping some days. ice down the parkway Polar Circus-very fat and inWeeping wall-lower fat, upper not touching downCurtain Call-fat, as well as the single pitch on climbers leftPanther-is in from what i could seeBridalveil-looks like it fellTangle Creek-in High avalanche danger over lot's of climbs.
