It should be dry enough by now for climbing. The knobs need some time to dry so they are more stable. We will see how stable they are. corvallisclimb Posted May 18, 2012 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Hey Plaidman, I flew over the Coethedral area today, the snow level was lookin pretty low so I'd bet you'll be able to drive all the way there. But don't hold me to it since I didn't know the exact roads to look at n stuff. Have fun! I can post a video of flying around there but not sure it will be too much help. The first belay is slinging a 4 foot diameter knob and then sling knobs to the top. It takes about 30 slings. Rap anchor on top. Maybe that will take this climb out of the adventure category. Plaidman Posted May 21, 2012 Author Share Posted May 21, 2012 Yup. Too much snow. We will have to wait for a couple of more weeks. Thx Geoff for posting our non progress. We bailed and climbed near Zig Zag camped and then went to Pete's Pile on Sunday. I led a 5.7 in the rain. Top roped an even wetter 5.8+. Then we hit the road for home.
