WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Wanted: Alpine Touring boots

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a pair of Alpine Touring boots for my wife to use for backcountry skiing. Any brand is fine, though I'd prefer to stick with the regulars (Scarpa, Black Diamond, Garmont)... She wears about a 24.5 in Mondo Point size and we've looked at all the normal website for some deals. Thought I'd throw it up here just in case...

Reply to the thread or you can email me. Thanks!

If you're in Seattle we found a pretty good deal last year on some Scarpas for my girlfriend at Second Ascent. They were cosmetic seconds so the white wasn't quite as white as it was supposed to be on a few parts, but who really cares. Don't know if they still have any, but it might be worth checking out.
