I just got back from a 2 month bike trip and want to do a relaxed climb close to home tomorrow. But I have no idea what the snow levels are like. kevino Posted August 13, 2011 Share Posted August 13, 2011 My most current guess based on the weather and my last trip up there a week or two ago...snow across the source lake lookout. clear up to great scott bowl, which will be mostly covered in snow. There was bergschrund that required stepping onto the ledges about 10 ft away from the actual pass itself because the actual pineapple pass had a snow bridge that was overhanging and thin.
