Rainier in october during our fall break and wanted someones opinion on the mountain in mid October. unfortunately i'm on a time constraint and the routes on the Mowich face have too long of an approach. could anyone offer some alternatives? thanks! ScaredSilly Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Normal, what da ya mean? Ever heard of shifting base lines? The FA of both Liberty and Ptarmigan Ridges were made in Sept.
