WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Rainier via DC July 21-23

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Just got a hold of 3 permits for the DC route on Rainier, but none of my partners will be in town. Looking for folks to fill my party. I'm pretty quick, pleasant, generally keep things safe and fun. Let me know!

I am going with RMI Tues/Wednesday, but the weather looks foul. In the case you still have space in your group I may like to retry if I don't summit on Wednesday as planned. Send me an im if this works for you! Thanks! I'd also be interested in the Disappointment Cleaver Route.

I would be interested in a weekend attempt. Have all my own gear and been on Rainier a few times, 1 summit.

Tony, sent you a PM

Reservation's been adjusted/changed. We're now heading up Saturday to Ingraham, making our summit bid Sunday morning. Still have one slot open!

quick question how do you get a hold of permits and how hard is it to do so? i thought that tent reservations up high were the harder thing to come by. thanks.
