Not sure where you get your bad info, but the Bush era tax cuts are the number one largest component of our deficit today - larger than our war debt, even. There's not much controversy over this conclusion...analyzing past data is a bit less error prone than your complete bullshit number.

Hopefully, the other folks here can differentiate between what caused the deficit and the steps need to fix it going forward. Time value of money, interest, and all that. The Bush tax cuts 10 years ago ballooned the deficit to the point where much larger measures are needed to undo the damage. I could go through an example calculation, but I would hope no one here is moron enough to need one.

The advantage of being a bankrupt nation with a lot of weapons is that you can invade nations with money but no weapons and loot them.

there's nothing worth pillaging, looting or raping in canada so what's the fun in an invasion?

Your forgetting about their lucrative maple syrup reserves.

They say nothing in the world can touch it (except for the F-22). That alone should guarantee that Pat can flap his lips and complain for the next 5 years in freedumb and not under another powers repressive thumb.

Let's Buy one less plane and use the money to fund the NPS instead.
