However, my ankle was not, nor were my brother's knees. Â I was eager to try out the venom, but alas, as Mitochondria put it, I wasn't comfortable with the terrain seeing as how I am still a novice. brandonmc Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Spent a cold, wet, 40mph sustained wind night up there last night. Very glad to have A- Good cold weather gear. B- A good tent. C- A good tent mate for 16hrs in less than ideal conditions. Thanks Ed Hobbick. The skin up sucked on very icy conditions. The ski down was very nice with 6-8 inches of new snow. Conditions up there are currently snowing and 30-40 mph winds for the next few days. Could have turnned epic had we not gotten a weather window to ski down this am.
