With Lisa Garnett, hiked Central Pillar of Frenzy, a pleasant outing with beautiful views of The Stone. Gear as per Super topo. Arrive early or, as we did, late to avoid other tourons. Off-width flaring chimney. Wintry conditions yet prevailed. The gear is from 2 inches to tight fingers. Craig took this photo of me throwing the crux, a toe hook at the lippy lip: We spent a great deal of time lolling by the pool, drinking Paranoid Pale Ale (less fattening), and avoiding testy gun-toting rangers.
