goofey8grape Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 I'm going to be looking for a home around the end of this month. It's got to be within about 60 miles of Eugene and under 350k. I love to climb, fish and moutain bike. Any advice on where I might look would be greatly appreciated! Quite honestly, I'm still trying to learn all I can about this beautiful state. JosephH Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Well, I'd say set aside 280k to buy a more than adequate house in Eugene, put 40k in the bank, and then take a 40k and a couple of years to climb your face off in style around the world, Then if you still want to live in Eugene when you get back you'll be all set. Good brewery, sweet mountain biking, decent skiing, etc. Don't know what actually living there is like, but there's plenty to do outside of the town itself.
