busotti Posted June 22, 2010 Share Posted June 22, 2010 Hello, I'm looking for one or more climbing partners for a trip up Rainier around the 2nd or 3rd week of August. I have gear for two, if needed. Want someone who has at least climbed a mountain before, need not be this big, and at least knows what a crampon is. I'm thinking a 3 day climb, probably up one of the main routes, but I'm open to suggestions. My experience: 3 winter ascents of Mt. Washington and a number of summer peaks and backpacking. I have never climbed Rainier but I have climbed all the other mountains here in the NW and Shasta in NorCal. I have all the gear for myself. I have ropes too if needed. Climbed on Summit Mt.Hood. via Hogsback ridge. July 6. Climbed on Summit Mt.Adams via south rute 183 A lot of hiking in WA (Snoqualmie Pass and Mt,Rainier) I have all gear.
