AlpineK
The 48 states are boring. I want to read about the team that launched an expedition to Kingman Reef and other cool American Territories Kingman Reef The atoll is closed to the public but I can't see that stopping a true record breaker. Be it known to all people: That on the tenth of May, A.D. 1922, the undersigned agent of the Island of Palmyra Copra Co., Ltd., landed from the motorship Palmyra doth, on this tenth day of May, A.D. 1922, take formal possession of this island, called Kingman Reef, situated in longitude 162 degrees 18' west and 6 degrees 23' north, on behalf of the United States of America and claim the same for said company. AlpineK
Here's another high point to go get. [img:center]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/96/Bajo_Nuevo.png[/img] Apparently the US claims it, but so do the Colombians, Nicaraguans, and Jamaicans. You might have to battle em to summit. The US claims it due to the Guano Islands act, so there's some top notch shit there. The island was popular with pirates too.
