What angle should I bevel the edges for the ice/corn season? Any other tips you can pass along would be most helpful! I've been using 89 degrees on mine, though when I tried 88 I can't honestly say I noticed the difference - probably because the snow is always so different. The one thing that I really notice is when I don't de-tune the tips and tails after sharpening the edge. That definitely helps avoid them getting hooked on icy crusts and crap. As Josh K.mentions de-tuning the edges is most important especially when skiing in the variable spring conditions out on the glaciers, etc. Waxed your skis lately??
