ryanb Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) Oh man, we were pretty close to them over at the left end of the country...when I heard the bang of the shoot opening and saw some glimpses of the grey shoot falling I was pretty sure something big was falling down out of the quarry. Â I've never seen them jump from that spot...anyone see where they landed? Â Edit: they jumped from near the high point of the quarry. Rick Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Happened to us once at Moab, above Potash Rd. We were scoping out a route to climb and *BAM* a chute opens up about 500ft straight above us! I know there is a popular Jeep trail up there, my first thought was that it was a Jeep, rectangular shape of chute. Which way do we run! Scared the crap out of us!
