banos Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 This is what Herb Crisler thought of the Olympic Wilderness.. this as he was huddled in a shallow cave below the snout of the Hoh Glacier in a sleet storm on day 19 of a 30 day survival trip in 1930: No road should ever pierce the heart of the Olympic Wilderness.
