You don't call it a skirt.

The reason you don't call it a skirt is that if you do I will have to kilt you.

KILT. Not skirt.

And I will have fun. I am so amped now I want to jump in the car right now. Can't sleep.

With such good weather you should have no problem onsighting all of those on your to do list :grlaf:

I'll think up a good excuse for not getting them done.

I have a list of those too.

Logistics are going to be a problem.

We will not be getting into Camp 4 until late Thurs.

So we will have to wait until the morning to get registered.

So Friday I was planning on getting my partner ready for some friction slab climbing(Yosemite friction slab, which resembles a finished marble top table). He will need it on the 5.7 friction traverse on Snake Dike.

So I was planning on the Grack Center. That will be good since that is the parking lot we will be parking at to get on the trail to do Snake Dike. We are planning on being on the Trail at 3:00 am. Sat.

Maybe we can beat the rush on Snake Dike and not have to hike down in the dark.

Is Snake Dike on a page of Ed's wide fetish ticklist that you didn't post?

Have a great trip, take lots of pictures

I don't know how it missed the list? There are some boulder problems with wide cracks on the way up on the 3 class scramble up to the top.

I talked my climbing partner Rick into the trip by selling Snake Dike as the most classic route in the world. Kinda like a snake oil salesman.

I really hyped it up.

It really is a cool way to get up on Half Dome.

I have forgotten the pain of the hike from the last time up. Mostly I have forgotten now that the nostalgia has had time to ferment.

It does have the nickname of Snake Hike.

Looking forward to doing it faster and with a whole lot less gear.

If you like that frictiony stuff, Crest Jewel offers a comparable view from the other side of the valley, highly recommended. Kind of the anti-wide, the wide open...

OHHHHHH!!!

My list is toooooo long.

I will have to highjack Rick and tell him we are marooned and must stay until the list is done.

I have looked at Crest Jewel. It's a long hike too.
