Not everyone has the parents or friends or local groups to get them started and yet they still have the passion to get out in the hills like everyone else on this site. I was lucky enough to have my brother teach me the ropes (haha puns) but not everyone has that. I think its great Josh is getting out, planning climbs and teaching himself. He kept need rescue on all his attempts, i think he was told to stay off the mountain and refused (as a kid he wore a capeand was sorta off). I read about him in some book but cant remember which.
