Looking for experienced alpine climber to join in on trip to Canadian Rockies for 14 days. Should be able to climb up to 5.8 alpine and have some experience. You will need a couple hundred bucks for payment of packers (horses) going in and out. Good peaks trust me. PM if you can go from August 6-20 time frame. No bad limbs or liabilities. Long ways in where we are going. Right now there are 3 of us but 4 or 5 would be better. New routes [big Drink] Climbing bums welcome. Caribou steaks for dinner and roast snafflehound for breakfast [big Grin]

All right knuckleheads-

IF anyone wants to thrash around marsh, thickets, bushes, devil's club, cross rivers and finally rock climb on some cool quartzite in a remote area of the rockies starting possibly this sunday or monday give a hollar. After tomorrow it is unlikely I will check back here.

BTW if you read this Harmon where the heck are you in cave?

Caveman--

Just back from Jasper/LL/Banff area, and you should know that snow-level was down to 4000-5000'. Not much, but 2 days ago didn't look to be stopping anytime soon, as evidenced by the hail & lightning. Enjoy those July/Aug freshiez on your super secret can-rocks first ascents.
