Ryan Canfield Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 We'll be arriving at 8pm to 9pm on Friday to climb Rainier... will we have to wait til Saturday morning to get a climbing permit? What about entrance to the park... when do those gates close ... or do they? Any help would be awesome. Spencer63 Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 The non climbing Rangers are not understanding or forgiving with regards to traveling on "their road" in hrs which can and do vary, I found out the hard way with a warning ticket to not drive on "their road". if you make good time down climbing you better time it so you don't end up on "their road" too early or late.
