Kilimanjaro-the "Roof of Africa"-something he has done over 100 times. A native Maasai, Kambona was raised on the Tanzanian savannah where he gained a deep knowledge of the natural world and has since worked as a master safari guide. He is trilingual and speaks fluent Maa, Kiswahili and English. Before suffering a knee injury, Kambona was a world-class marathon runner preparing for the Olympics. From Kenya and Tanzania to Uganda and Rwanda, a Wildland Adventures Africa specialist will also take us on safari through diverse wildlife habitats and native cultures, including gorilla trekking and hiking with Maasai warriors.
