Lightweight sleeping bag question.

PhöQ

Recommended Posts

I used the search feature and came up blanks so heres the Q.

I am looking for a lightweight synthetic bag for the northwest, I have a WM Highlite but I would prefer to hav a synthetic bag for inclement weather and sleeping next to wet dogs.

(35 to 40 degree synthetic in regular)

I am looking at either the:

Montbell Ultra Light Alpine Burrow Bag™ #5

or

Marmot pounder

Light weight is key and if I need it a bit warmer I can use an overbag or sac.

If anyone has a third valid option, I would be very interested but any feedback would be great.

I am prolly gonna hit up Pro mtn sports tomorrow after a hike with Max so I appreciate and info in advance!!

My classic overbag :)

I bought a MH Ultralamnial 15. Long is about $157 and its really light and compactable. I used it last weekend while snow backpacking with out a tent and it was really sweet. Though... If you wanting to sleep with "wet dogs" go with a big agnus or what ever there called... More room for the ladies.
