Calvinclimber Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 (edited) January 3, 2009: Waterfall Ice Climbing Seminar at Sun Lakes State Park, WA (near Coulee City) Solid Rock - Climbers for Christ will be teaching the basics of waterfall ice climbing in Eastern Washington area, near Sun Lakes State Park on Saturday, January 3. The seminar will be top-roping grade 3 ice beginning at 9:00 am (meet at the state park’s entrance at 8:00 am) and going until 1:00 pm. A warming tent will be erected where after the seminar, hot chocolate and an encouraging word will be offered for those who want it. You will need to have your own winter clothing, helmet and boots with crampons but the instruction is free. Some ice tools will be available to be used.
