prole
New polls suggest McCain and Obama are running neck and neck. If McCain wins, will any of you be making any drastic lifestyle changes? Joining a militia? Going underground? Seeking opportunities in sunnier climes? Re-enlisting?

marylou
New polls suggest McCain and Obama are running neck and neck. Really? We must not get our news from the same sources, because I heard today that some polls have Obama up by as much as ten points nationally. WylDanimal
AP poll shows neck and neck... I don't know what the electoral breakdown is, but Obama is still fairly comfortable... Plus the "media" has to keep it close. More ad revenue!! Edited October 22, 2008 by WylDanimal

ashw_justin
Plus the "media" has to keep it close. More ad revenue!!Don't touch that dial folks! "Overtime" would probably be good for business too. Oh no wait, maybe this is just the liberal media making sure that the dems don't get complacent. Oh no I got it, it's to make sure that nobody votes for that damn Nader again. What is the spread across all of the polls now? Is it higher than most of the supposed individual margins? I guess this means we can go back to ignoring them.
marylou
Here's a ridiculously long list of what the polls are saying. Note as you scroll down that there are only a couple dozen sources and that it shows historical polling for the last few months. linky

Buckaroo
The AP poll is a scam, their trying to deflect for when they try to steal it. the best poll is real clear politics, it takes all the major polls and keeps a running average, currently Obama by 7 LINK the only thing that matters though is the electoral college currently Obama 286, McCain 160 (270 to win) LINK
Buckaroo
For the first time in my life I'm seriously considering moving to Canada. I'm between jobs and paying $400 mo health ins. Plus there's way more openings in Vancouver for my profession. Of course Canada is not too far behind the US, and if they implement the NAU like they want it will all be one country anyway.
