Greg Adkins
Hey folks! I'm looking to get in with a group and try out some ice climbing. the desire to want to ice climb is what got me into this great sport in the first place, but I've yet to do it. Most of my time has been spent in a gym, but I've been itching to get out and get into it. So that's what this post is about. I'm a very eager helper and learner. I don't expect to go up on the ice my first time, but any knowledge would be eagerly soaked up. I don't mind carrying bags, retrieving gear, whatever it takes. I just want to be out there... learning and enjoying. So if anyone has any good trips in the general area coming up, please let me know. And hi, I'm Greg. I'm new around here and was pointed to y'all by someone over at Rockclimbing.com. I'm hyped up to have been pointed in this direction and look forward to meeting folks. Thanks for all of the work that you do to make this site so good and I can't wait to get more involved. Be good! Greg

Alex
There's a few PDX based climbers who get out fairly regularly during the winter, but it's a LOT of driving for Oregon based ice climbers...
