African American males were purposefully infected with syphilis to study the disease. We studied that case in microbiology in college. But not to eradicate the race as was implied. "If you look at his platform, at his advisers, at his temperament, the guy's got a healthy respect for markets," he told Chicago magazine. "It's in the ethos of the [university of Chicago], which is something different from saying he is laissez-faire." If you are at all familiar with the philospohy of Milton Friedman, you would know that "laissez-faire" is a terrific description of him. "Furman claims he will be drawing on the expertise of two Keynesian economists: Jared Bernstein of the Economic Policy Institute and James Galbraith, son of Friedman's nemesis John Kenneth Galbraith." That says a lot. Plus, if you look at Obama's website and the plans he has: expanded government-funded FMLA, government-sponsored "Universak Voluntary Public Service," an even-more "progressive" tax system, public funding for "emergency foreclosure prvention," "living wage," and program after program all suggest that he far more of a socialist than a "Chicago-Schooler." Let's see, praising WalMart as a "progressive" success story, saying Friedman's policies created imbalance (probably Mr. Free Market, next to Hayak), not to mention his penchant for wanting to redistribute wealth...yep, he's a socialist.
