I'm looking for something that covers all the bases, Planning, logistics, routes, weather, ect. I just started looking into South America and don't know much about it. Peru? Bolivia? Argentina? Chile?) There is no good guidebook to the entire range just like there is no good guidebook to climbing in N. mneagle Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 I used Yossi Brain's book for Bolivia and found it to be pretty good. The only problem is that the guide is from 1999 and some of the route descriptions were off due to glacial retreat.
