WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Index or 32/38 this week?

Recommended Posts

If anyone wants to go to Index or Exit 32/38 after work this week or in the following weeks, I’m game.

I’m new to leading, currently at about only the 5.6 level (maybe 5.7 depending on conditions), can follow 5.8-5.9. Was leading sport solidly at 5.7 last year with a couple 5.8 sport leads. At Index I’m eager to lead GNS and Ultrabrutal, have followed both.

I have a rope and a pretty good rack for a beginner. Work in Kenmore, will have my gear with me so I can leave straight from the office.

I’m eager to get out and log some time so I’d be happy to tend the cord for you on hard stuff if you’d follow me on the bunny routes and let me know what you think of my placements.

Weather looks kinda like suck this week.

Exit 38? I thought you didn't like gym climbing...

Fuck you. Beggars can't be choosers.

Hey, did I mention I just got a new alpine draw with a couple DMM biners?

Exit 38 is better than nothing. :-)

There's easy stuff at Headlight Point (or whatever it's called - on the Far Side). From left to right 5.6 through 5.8.

I've never been much for the gym but always thought the Exits were pretty good for an after-work workout. At 32 there are even a couple of crack climbs.
