"Mrs Clinton, meanwhile, is trying to get the Democratic Party to reverse its decision to exclude Florida's delegates from the national convention, in a dispute over the timing of the state primary in January."

Didn’t they both sign an agreement not to use Florida and Michigan’s votes? What the fuck is she doing? I can’t believe no one on her staff is letting her know what a fool she is making herself look like. Then again, no one told W what an idiot he was and is……..

Lets see. If Mrs Clinton was playing professional baseball and while trying to get on base she was called out by the first base umpire she should launch a national campaign to be declared safe by the MLB umpire association.

I like baseball but the games are long enough. Extra innings can be exciting, but everybody does need to go home eventually. Hmmm

So here's my problem; her strategy and her rationalization are at complete odds with one another. She wants Florida and Michigan to count because it's the only decent honorable democratic thing to do. (Never mind that it overturns the rules in mid-game, a total no-no.) But, at the same time, the ONLY, ONLY way she can get the nomination is if enough Superdelegates can be arm-twisted, bribed, browbeaten, or cajoled into overturning the will of the voters. That ain't right now, is it? Shame on her.

Now there is a standard contradiction for you! "Decent" and "honorable" are not terms I would associtate with anything the democrats have done since FDR.

War on Poverty?

Voting Rights Act?

Both spearheaded by LBJ.

Peace Corps - JFK

...it's not right, and I am outraged.

:anger:

Please direct your anger at the Florida legislature that voted, either through hubris or stupidity, to schedule the state's primary in contravention to the DNC's bylaws.

That would be the REPUBLICAN legislature...

Hillary knows the Dems are in position to take the White House, and can't let it go. In 8 years she'll be too old to run.

Hillary has no chance to make it back into the White House.

Basically there are 20% of the people are going to vote D no matter what, and 20% of the people are going to vote R no matter what.

It is that 40% in the middle that count.

They will not vote for a Clinton. No way, no how. It ain't gonna happen. The American people will not accept America to be run by the same two families for 24 years.

If Hillary gets the nod by the D's then the R' could put up Bozo the Clown and win by a landslide.

As much as I think the D's don't know what they are talking about, I am sure they do realize Hillary ain't got a chance. never did.

I see you were never good at math. Public schools? :grlaf:

Looks like he might be a prime candidate for a position as a Florida recount worker, or CIA analyst responsible for predicting the likelihood of WMDs in Iraq.
