Any suggestions on winter camping locations?

I want to get out for some winter camping to develop skills needed for cold weather mountaineering. I live in eastern Washington. Can anyone suggest good camping locations? I have read about Paradise area at Rainier but sounds like parking greatly limited. Thanks for any information.

Just drive in or are you up for a hike/snowshoe too? Colchuck lake near leavenworth is a real pretty area. Or you can camp down in the canyon just off the road (icicle creek canyon). Little less snow than other places listed so far, but maybe less of a drive.

I don't know the east side much but Paradise is good and around Snoqualmie pass area also. If you gotz no avalanche skills though pick someplace flat and well away from any 30+ degree slopes - hard to do in the areas I just mentioned I think. Take a class/Study up before hand though and on your camping trip you can really get edumacated.
