Most of the approaches are in valleys which require a long hike to snow. There is some good stuff from Hurricane ridge out towards Obstruction point. Can be some stuff out of Deer Park but usually the road is closed too low. There was a cabin at Waterhole Camp where you could stay but it is long gone.

So what's the approx. snow line altitude in February then? Or is there a resource somewhere that can give that info (maybe ranger station in the NP I guess)? Are streams as swollen as they say in the valleys in that time of year? Or is that more in the spring?
