WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Revolution in Squamish Climbing

Recommended Posts

I busted a lung laughing when he breaks out the duct tape! Precious.

Welcome to the Jungle - a bit too ambitious a song for skatepelling. I thought he was actually gonna do a run for a ropelength as his friend let the rope speed thru a low-friction device or something. L_A_M_E. Almost a cool idea though. You cant really call that the first skate descent of the apron when they only went down 50-feet of it. Thats like saying you tagged an FA on El Cap by climbing a single pitch.

Thanks for sharing that Mythosgirl. At first I though he was gonna bust it on the board...sans rope. It brought a smile to me face to watch them hooking and crookin down the slope on rap.

Love the duct tape too!

Someone told me a person biked down the walk-off descent on the apron! (without a rope)
