WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Partner and Ideas for November 1-15

Recommended Posts

Looking to do something big during these dates. Maybe week at squamish or the bugabu's, Rainier? Anything really just give your idea.

Usually it is too wet to climb and not enough snow to ski. But you never know. I'm planning on staying home and working on my "honey-do" list. That way, when the snow flies there is plenty of goodwill built up

I'd suggest a trip to Red Rocks or J-Tree.

Novemeber is perhaps the worst month for the Cascades. As bstach mentioned the weather ususally blows and there is not enough snow to ski. Smith Rocks could be decent though.

If you got 15 days, why not put in a couple hrs driving and hit the desert? Moab, Red Rocks, Cochise, Sedona...whatever is better than the soupy weather here.

well, I have ideas, now I need a partner. Hmm, I did not realize the weather was so crappy during that time. Anyone up for a trip down south?
